UFS 201 - 2nd Vocabulary Entry 

1.Exorcism - The ceremony that seeks to expel an evil spirit from a person or place.
2.Proficiency - The state of being proficient; skill; expertness: proficiency in music.
3. Reduction - Important part of a comprehensive approach to guided prevention.
4.Harbinger - Something that precedes and indicates the approach of something or someone
5.speak out -To utter words or articulate sounds with ordinary speech modulation, talk.
6.stare out -to look at (a person or animal) fixedly until his gaze is turned away.
7.hold on -informal ,Into a state of delay or indeterminate suspension.
8.pick out -To discern from the surroundings; distinguish.
9.Run away -To flee, escape.
10.clam down -become quiet or calm, especially after a state of agitation, After the fight both men need to cool off. It took a while after the baby was born for things to settle down again.
